A DAY OF PRAYER FOR MEN & WOMEN

"BREAKING THROUGH WHEN LIFE IS BRAKING DOWN"

Wednesday, September 30th and October 14th

9:30 am - 12 noon

From satisfying work to sudden unemployment, from going to work to working on line, from taking health for granted to being worried all the time about a little understood virus, from being too busy to having too much time alone, from a happy marriage to a hurtful divorce. These are just a few of the countless ways that life hurls us into the chaos of change, where our certainties are shaken and our faith may even begin to falter. But what if we saw the chaos, the “MESS”, of our lives not as something to fear but as something to embrace?

Out of Chaos new opportunities are born. Using the material from Margaret Silf’s book The Other Side of Chaos, we will look closely at the subject of chaos and the intrinsic transition it brings. We will spend time reflecting on our own attitudes and beliefs about chaos and crisis. With the help of Scripture and reflection we will work to create a “spirituality of transition” that leads us to live out life’s changes constructively, creatively and confidently.

If we are unable to meet physically, this program will be given virtually.
